Still paying for a child who has joined the army

I have 3 children that dont live with me and 2 that do. My oldest is 19 and in the armed forces and has been for 3years can i get the csa to re work my case I tried phoning and emailing every other day for 6months yet everytime I had to explain the complete story however I did recieve a letter august 2009 stating that my case will be reviewed and i will recieve another letter with my new payment details.This never came I have since made a complaint and had another letter stating exactly the same.

The thing is its deducted directly from my wages so I am unable to stop it.Ive found them rude unhelpful. The stress this has caused my wife and I its supprising that were still together we both work whilst my ex dosent and hasnt ever yet drives around in a big 4×4 and has holidays,things that we just cant afford to do.

Im all for paying for my children that’s my responsibility and I will always do so. But should I still be paying for a child that isnt a child and soon will be fighting for this country, and what about the two children that live with me perhaps they will only matter if my wife and i seperate?

    it has taken over 20 years but i have beat the csa, i asked for everything they hold on my husbands case right back from day one , it took a while but this huge parcel arrived and it took another few months to go through it all, but found so many errors and photo copies of things that they said they hadn’t received from us etc., that i then got on the phone and after arguing with the person that answers the phone who was trying to tell me they couldn’t discuss the case with me as I wasn’t down on the system(had the proof in front of me from the copies)got the first person ever to actually listen to me and act on what i was saying, and now have been told that we have a big refund due
    this is to everyone out there ….do not give up

    I agree. Never give up against this incompetent lot.

    I am still paying for a 21 year old because of prolonged and continuous maladministration by the CSA. Who have botched my case up repeatedly over 11 years, which culminated in the stitching me up with £6,500 worth of debt, because of their errors!

    They are a down right disgrace, and shoukld be shut down asap!

    Incompetent is an understatement, have you got your MP involved have you made a complaint and appealed? get the Parliamentary Ombudsman involved too, they are thieving scum I despise them.
