I phone the CSA every day and get fobbed off

January 29, 2013

I have had nothing but trouble with CSS since I started dealing with them, latest one is my payments have gone onto their manual payment system because of a fault of there’s-now not only do I have to chase them to get my payments on time from my Xs employers, now I’m told I have to wait 10-15 days for them to get my money sent out to me!! When they already have in in there accounts!!!!

Would they like there wages paid two weeks late every month?

No, not at all but I’m expected to wait and get my child’s money into the next month two weeks late then the whole bloody process starts again-I’m phoning every day as I’m fed up of being fobbed of with “system” crap and just how many others money is in there account waiting to be sent out?

And no doubt gaining interest!!! I think enough of us should make a Stand with newspapers outlining this “system” error resulting in plenty of people waiting for goodness knows how long to get what is there money because of incompetence on there part and in the process we lose out…it’s.

Bloody ridiculas….

    Hi

Do sympathise with you, have you tried complaining formally? Try this –

This isnt the csa its an open forum so don’t give names/details etc especially of children.

Don’t deal with the csa by phone, everything in writing, sent recorded, keep the receipts.

Copy your MP into everything and try and get them involved as your advocate.
Make a formal complaint about any decision you are unhappy with from the outset as time limits are involved. Always go for an appeal tribunal asap following the internal process.

Get a copy of your Data Protection prints from the outset so you know what you are dealing with, again follow the correct procedure in wording your request to get ALL information, send it to the right department, send the correct fee.

Don’t be afraid to complain about any csa staff, or their superiors if you feel you have just cause.

Remember the process, internal complaint, ‘independent’ case examiner (the csa protection department), appeals tribunal, parliamentry and health service ombudsman through your mp for maladministration.

Same here! I just actually on the phone with them 20 minutes ago! A case worker had called me 2 weeks ago and said that payments will be all adjusted and have not heard from them since. I rang today to check and I was told that they have not set up the direct payment yet despite all the information on their case notes already! They already made error with the initial assessment having not included my X dividends being self employed so I was only paid very little as maintenance direct and my X won’t give me back the difference anymore!

We are suffering from their incompetence. I don’t receive any government benefits apart from my child’s benefit and having two jobs and works overtime to compensate from the loss just because of their crap system! I have not received 6 weeks more or less of payment for my child and now they tell me to wait for another 2 weeks to set up the direct debit!

It’s getting exhausting and stressful to deal with them anymore and the case has been goin on since August last year!

…and that is why you should never, ever deal with the CSA by telephone.
    Only by post.
Send all letter by recorded delivery and keep all copies of letter sent and received in date order.

Will be very useful when making a complaint, legal action etc.
