Can they take my money if I’m nothing to do with the child?

Csa are taking money from my wage every month, up to £330 a time yet im not on the child’s birth certificate?
Have no contact with the child or the mother there have been rumours I could be the dad, there is also someone else on the birth certificate as the dad! And there is no proof I am except the mothers word of mouth?
Can they take money of me as Im nothing to do with the child??

Not if u aint one the birth certificate u aint legally respondsible
Request a DNA through the csa. Ask for payments to be suspended pending the outcome. If the child is not yours request all monies back as well as compensation for hardship times. I’d also go to the national papers as well. The scum at the csa think there about the law.
CSA You have to abide by the law that Brussels enforce. Your breaking every human right possible

not true my oh not on his child b,c but they still take his money and she keep her away from him and now marred and has her calling him dad . long the mum say his the dad CSA dont care till the one paying can prove hes not
If uv ignored them tryna contact u then they take it as parentage and they wil take ur wages

Forget the birth certificate if ur the biological dad u have to pay. Csa are robbing scum they take too much n dont care if u see kids or not. The less u see them the more u pay. If ur the real dad but not on birth certificate it is still YOUR LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY no questions asked end off.
This is my post I have no idea whether im the dad or not, however im not on the birth certificate yet some one else is, my ex has just told csa im the dad but theres proof.
Unfortunately a friend of mine is in this situation except there taking £600 a month from him, he didn’t even know the child existed and the child is 10.
By law u don’t cus u are not accepting liability until that DNA test is done and u are on that birth certificate
Let’s start with the obvious. Is he/she your child? Did you have sex with the mother? Does the timescale to the birth fit? Ie 9 months from when you had sex with her? If you do NOT believe the child is yours then you must immediately write to the Csa and inform them of such and demand they prove that you are the father. They will then demand DNA tests of you and the child. If the Dna tests show that you are his/her father then you will have to support your child and pay the Csa. But why have you waited until they started taking money before querying it? A long time has passed since they first contacted you? Head in the sand or do you believe he/she is your child? Get it sorted and find out whether you are his/her father and sort out whether you want to be involved in his/her life!

No birth certificates have to be given to the CSA by the PWC as proof of parentage. They 100% take the PWC word for it. Its up to NRP to prove otherwise. Wether you get a dna test through the CSA or pay for it yourself its a matter of priority. If you have been paying CSA voluntarily or otherwise, they will take it as acceptance of your paternity, wrong but thats the way it is. If your not the Dad, you will have to be aggressive with your fight for a refund, and it will probably take a long time so be prepared.
