Surely the CSA is wrong

I had a case with the CSA until 2002 when my youngest daughter was 18.
My ex has made a claim against me now as my 29 year old daughter has had a child recently. The CSA want me to pay for my grandson.
I have explained to the CSA that I am not liable to pay for my grandson but they say that I am. This is surely wrong.

You are so not !. How the hell have they worked that one out .even if you ex was taking care of the baby she cant claim of you . Mate you need to take to a lawyer, your mp or something

Join “child support agency rip offs”. The will give you free advice. Write to the CSA also and request your DP file. (Date protection file) and it will have details of every type of communication between the CSA and yourself plus every phone call. It takes 40 days to receive it but they are busy at them moment. The file is free but they will try and charge you £10. If you need any help writing a letter join the above group. You should not be responsible for your grandchild and I can’t imagine how they would assume that.

I did read somewhere that if the father dont pay and grandmother has child they can go for the grandfather. Not sure they made this law but defo read it somewhere months ago.
This is obviously fraud if it is the CSA asking for money from you. Go to the police or ask the Serious fraud office to investigate.
