Self employed ex fiddling his income
My ex is self employed and has lied to the CSA about his income. He pays only £5 a week but lives in a docklands property, eats out every night and continues to collect my son in either a BMW or a Porsche Carrerra.
The CSA say that the Inland Revenue information backs up what he is declaring and have so far refused to look any further into my case saying that my sons father has a “eight to be believed”. I am continually stalled by the CSA’s incompetence and time wasting tactics and am left feeling totally disempowered and helpless.
I’m sure my case is not an isolated one and I’m willing to get involved in some kind of campaign to get this issue into the public domain. I feel those experiencing these problems should be forming a pressure group and maybe even staging some kind of publicity stunt to highlight the plight of the kids who are at the centre of these disputes.
Every tax payer in the country should be made aware that it is them who have to support the kids of men like this who continue to lie and cheat to avoid paying for thier own flesh and blood. In my view this kind of scam is just as newsworthy as the MP’s fiddling their expenses! It is just a further travesty that the CSA are allowed to protect him from criminal investigation in this way.

It is the responsibility of both parents to provide financially for their children, and not just the fathers …..
Katy, I thought I was reading my story when I first read yours! 11 yrs of this Ive had and the Inland Revenue not interested, even though they want their tax to be paid but dont want to go after the men who they know are lying! Please join the facebook groups child support agency failings, and others an sign the petitions (hoping they now can be signed again) I have a tribunal appeal soon to get the maintenance assessment changed as the Criminal Compliance Unit of the CSA found the evidence that he has lied via the credit ref agencies, I will let you know the outcome as hoping this will open up things for everyone.
y ex husband has not paid maintenance for my daughter for two years now, yet he lives in a big house posh car and is self employed he has been investigated and i have been told i get nothing and he is running his own business csa say he has income of nil i have to pay him 54 pound a week its not right
