I pay for four children and two are mine

What a load of vile rubbish this page spouts.

Firstly, I am the father to two great children who live with my ex-wife. We get on really well, and I financially support them at more than the CSA says I am obliged to – which is why I am never troubled by the CSA – because we never needed them because we were not all bitter and twisted and tried to avoid paying our dues. I happily ‘invest’ in my children, even though my ex has a new husband. I do this because the new husband is a great guy, but doesn’t earn much, and I am grateful that he has taken my children under his wing, that we work together and I want to make sure that he, my ex and the kids have a decent life.

By irony, my new partner also has two children who I live with. However, because I live with them, her ex (who earns £120,000 a year which we know of) is now saying ‘you should support my ex-wife’, is cutting spousal maintenance and lies to the CSA and the tax man about his income (mostly using some of the tricks that this website advocates), forcing my partner to be reliant on me.

So, I am paying for two homes and four children, only two of which are mine and only one of which I live in.

So, care to tell me what is fair about that?

Stop whining you pathetic scumbags – step up to the plate and take some responsibility and stop under-valuing motherhood. Stop forcing women ‘back to work’ just so you don’t have to pay so much. Being a single parent is a crap job – I know, I was raised by one, I created one and I fell in love with one.

You cannot say you love your kids it you are constantly attacking their mother.

Have some respect. More importantly, have some self-respect.

    Of course you can, the who are not conneted,

    Perhaps if the mother in question had denied you a relationship with your children, had accused your of demestic violence in order to thwart contact, had accused you of being a paedophile and sexually abusing your children to thwart contact, had sought to have you beaten up for applying to court to see your children, had cheated on you, had lied all through the divorce, then maybe you would have a different viewpoint.

    As for your partners husband being expected to financially support his ex wife now that you are co-habiting. what planet are you on? She is he EX wife, get it?

  2. Well said!!I think its incredibly important to remember that a lot of the problems caused by the CSA are entirely that.. Caused by the CSA and by arguing and fighting with your Ex just makes things worse!I also take on board the fact that there are a lot of vindictive men and women out there who will try to manipulate situations to their advantage. I'm just saying…. keeping the focus on the well being of the kids IS the most important thing. I have sympathy for anyone who has struggles to achieve this for whatever reason.You are a decent bloke and i applaud you for your outlook 🙂

Many of us on here, men and women, PWC's and NRP's have formed new relationships with other single parents and find themselves victims of the CSA's incompetence on both sides of the fence. I am looking to move in with my new partner sometime next year and yet I will be bringing into that situation my 11 year old son whose self employed porsche driving father pays a woefully inadequate contribution of £5 a week child maintenance. Why should my partner, a single father who works hard in the public sector, pays his Income Tax and provides generously for his 3 children, be expected to provide financially for someone elses son?

  5. Well fantastic, I wish I could earn enough to pay for two homes etc. But the CSA has done everything possible to PREVENT me from providing for my children. By the way 2 live with me, 2 with with their mother. Why should the CSA take over half my salary (and I mean over half, the figure was 60%) and keep it? They do NOT give the money to the children, they keep it!!! And as for spousal maintenance, when someone files for divorce they should understand that they need to provide for themselves, not sit on their backsides all day, receiving in benefit, (income support, housing benefit, council tax benefit), more than my gross salary. And then she gets it all tax free while I have to pay tax, NI, and a further 60% to the CSA. Talk about being robbed blind. Her net income is greater than mine, so she should be paying me! BOTH parents should be looking after and providing for their children and the best way of doing that is Shared Residence with bot parents sharing the responsibilities. Why should some Quango Government Department come along interfering in our lives. Let us look after and provide for our children as best we can. Stop wasting our money on this bunch of child abusers and killers. Yes, hundreds of fathers and their children have been killed by this bunch. Shut it down NOW and make it return ALL money that has not been given to our children!

I hate my ex with a passion !! I worked my bollox off for years to maintain a happy family life only for my ex to get bored and have affairs so excuse me for not feeling like you do. I love my kids and that has absolutely nothing to do with my ex. My kids hate what their mum has done for splitting the family up and one of them has gone completely off the wall because of it. If your looking for some kind of pat on the back for 'overpaying' your maintenance then dont expect one from me. At the age of 41 and after being a family man and investing in my family for nearly 20 years I found myself single purely because my ex could not keep her knickers up. So now I have to start again in life. I walked away with my motorbike and my clothes and thats it so forgive me if I invest in my self and only pay the minimum possible but I need it just as much as they do.

  8. The first poster sounds like CSA parasite scum to me so I would not take
    him seriously .What I would say is once the CSA are gone there are
    going to be more than enough people who will try to put a bill through
    parliament,this bill will enable Retrospective prosecution of the CSA .
    We may even see some prison time handed down to a few of the scum.
    The CSA will learn that it doesn’t matter that they are only doing what they
    think they are allowed to do.If the CSA are reading this then this is my
    message.IN the future Retrospective law may be used against you,You
    may also face private civil action.You may be also face Criminal prosecution.
    The full weight of the law will be used so that you will face financial ruin.
    and remember just because you have the law on your side today,the
    law can turn on you tomorrow .

  14. Lucky you that can afford to pay for 2 homes! And how dare you call people on this page 'scumbags'. Most people on here are been traumatised by the CSA and each story is different so please have some respect.My new husband and I support ourselves and my 3 children. I don't get maintenance because my first husband DIED. My new husband also supports his exwife and his children through the CSA. He does this because he LOVES ME and all of our children and we have a strong marriage. It's very, very obvious that you don't have the same so I pity you.

Well aren't you the lucky one, I am sure nobody wants the csa involved.Your post has really annoyed me, My husband was paying his ex girlfriend cash in hand, he paid ALL THE BILLS so his daughter didn't miss out and all his overtime when he had it, she asked and he gave it to her No questions asked. HE SUPPORTED his ex and their daughter EVERY WEEK and whenever she wanted more he gave it, That was fine until i came along and then The Bitter lying ex wasn't happy and said that's it, I AM GOING TO RUIN YOU and get the CSA involved. She tried her best but hey ho he married me. She has done her best but we are made of stronger stuff, and also When Our daughter is in full time school i will be going back to work, oh but hang on, why should i have to support my husbands ex and daughter, cos thats what they have told us.I will support my daughter and that's it.The csa are usually on the side of the pwc, and this page really helps, So go back to your oh so PERFECT world.I have loads of self respect and if bitter ex partners tell lies, the csa choose to believe them.

The guys who are scum bags are those that dodge any payment and the ones that the CSA leave alone as it is just too much effort. Wind your neck in….

  33. Damn right he should cut spousal payments. That with child maintenance is just plain greedy!!!!!!!! Tell your new partner to get off her arse and find a job to support her kids and pay for her holidays like the rest of us mere mortals instead of relying on his "£120,000 a year we know of" . I doubt very many of us using this website earn that in 5 yrs and you are just rubbing everyones noses in that fact that you move in affluent circles. This website is for those who have been screwed over by the NRP, PWC and csa and are finding things tough emotionally and financially, so please just sod off and keep your opinions to yourself.

  36. Not everybody can be rich. The planet would explode if we were all going on 4 holidays to the rest of the world a year. This means that a lot of people have to be very poor. I think most people that complain about the CSA are in the lower rungs of the pay scale. So when the CSA take that 15% plus from the non resident parent. It sometimes has a knock on affect. The non resident cannot afford to run a car for instance or rent a nice flat where his children with love coming to. More often than not the non res has to live in a shared house etc.This is where the CSA have got it wrong. Stealth Tax supreme. I would also like to add that I to have a good relationship with my ex's and see my children when they want to see me. But the CSA have made it very difficult for the working man to have a little life.Not downgrading what you have achieved in anyway. I think we all agree for paying for our children. But CSA are leaches. It's not like the mother gets to see the money when she is on benifits. I want Panorama to do an investigation.

Hey my exs new man is a great guy, I pay him big money to sleep wiv my wife in my house and when we go on hols all together he shafts me as well if I'm lucky, yeah right!
