I don’t think my child maintenance is correct
My ex had to pay me child maintenance since Jan 9th by DEO. At the begining of Apr I have received first payment. While I was waiting for the money I was receiving Income support from 2nd Feb. But I don’t think the sum of Child Maintainance I have received is correct. As it looks like they deducted income support from Jan which I didn’t received.
Now I want to know how they calculated CM. What doc’s should I ask for them to send me???
And is it possible that they took CM from my ex since the child’s birth and told me that I only start to receive from 9th Jan?? I applied in Dec and didn’t ask to backdate.

CM is only due from the NRP from when the CSA make contact with them so you had no right to demand any backdated payments.
The CSA will not disclose the income upon which they have calculated CM, it would be against the Data Protection Act.
