Ex has lied to CSA for 9 years

I have been seperated from my ex partner for 8 years now. He has never paid anything and the csa promised me they would help. I heard nothing from them for the first 5 years even though i contacted them telling them my ex was working.

The csa claimed they sent him a form to set up a direct debit…suprise suprise he didnt return it. After numerous phone calls from me to them telling them where he was working and where he lived, the csa still did nothing. My ex claimed he was on benefits after they tracked him down (after i threatened legal action against them) they proved he was working and did an attachment of earnings i had a payment every month for 4 months and then he stops paying saying he lost his job.

After my ex bragged about working nights and going on expensive holidays i contacted csa last month and heard nothing, i sent an email on friday saying i was taking legal action and i litrally got a phone call an hour later. They told me that they had proof my ex was on benefits i asked them what proof, they told me it was a hand written letter from him saying he was in reciept of benefis, (if this is ”proof” i shall write them a hand written letter saying im cindy crawford!!) suprise suprise i again am doing all their work for them i have proven he is working and where he works……so after an hour on the phone they have told me my ex is now going to court as he owes me 2000 pounds and thats just the arrears…how on earth has it managed to go this far ???

The csa needs a major overhaul, the departent for working pensions should take over and maintenance should be taken out of absent parents wages as tax and N.I is. The csa should work like any other debt collection agency if you dont pay then the baillifs come and take your stuff and sell it at auction.

My son is now 9 and im sick of struggling to pay for things and the guilty feeling you have when you say no to them because you cant afford it is awful, meanwhile my ex swans off to spain, barcelona and is planning on many more holidays..as he so stupidly brags about on a well known social networking site. My ex has lied for 9 years, he has given fraudulant information and has avoided paying, why on earth is he allowed to get away with this? Im passed from pillar to post when ringing csa im given wrong information and i couldnt even tell you who my case worker is but i do know he or she must have a hearty appetite as they are always ” on their dinner break at the moment”.

I send them an email and they say im getting angry with them , well what do they expect?, if they did their jobs they wouldnt have this problem.
