CSA admit ‘administrative error’

The CSA admit in this video, added to YouTube, that they made an administrative error by sending a variations form meant for one guy, to a different address. The outcome was a DEO set up for the wrong amount, a staggering £550.

This amount was far more than the father should have been paying, over £200 more, meaning he couldn’t afford to pay his mortgage.

Marvel as the inept CSA worker squirms at the errors they have made.

[..YouTube..] i am pleased to see someone standing up for themselves, cos i recieved a letter from the csa stating that i had 2 children from 2 different women which i had not even met. as a result of this my girlfriend at the time ended the relationship because i allegedly lied 2 her. i wish i had taken it further just like you have.

Im still fighting and will carry on because they have let my ex lie through his teeth by not taking action and also committing fraud, they CAN do things but its far easier not to when someone like Mr Walker is S/E !

  18. [..YouTube..] Thanks for posting this! It’s so good not to feel alone. The Australian CSA re-assessed me at a higher rate and, like with you, they sent letter to a wrong address. Although they admit their error they refuse to refund the amount overpaid. I eventually received a copy of the assessment letter over a year later.

  19. [..YouTube..] The CSA are a bunch of evil bastards. To keep my credit rating good, I pay a bill that is jointly owned by myself and ex wife. This £200 bill is accepted under a varyance . . . however, they deduct £15 a week from this calculation. Therefore, only £140 of this joint bill is considered ! I am told by the CSA bastards that this is their CSA Law ! Bent – Nothing but bent !

  26. [..YouTube..] they do make money off child support. i pay additional fees. 5.00 fee per payment and 10.00 fee per month supervision. then they charge her fees too. i pay a $100 she recieves $60 and they take $50 in fees. they make a shit load off of child support especially in the US

    If you spent less time messing about on the internet and more time working hard to earn money, to then pay for your children, you might not be in this situation. Mr Daz, I took the CSA/DWP to court because of Incompetence beyond belief, that they admitted , the Judge ( JUDGE McHALE ) kettering county court said that he agread they had treated me appaulingly, but, THEY DON’T OWE THE PWC, NRP OR THE CHILD A DUTY OF CARE, so they won, and they got cost against me, its a long story,

  41. [..YouTube..] This man went to far even acknowledging the CSA in the first place. Do not contract with them in any way, even responding to them or repeating back numbers to them means you have contracted with them.

    It was not you who called the CSA in the first place. You have no obligation to engage with them. Once you are contracted with them you are liable to give them money.

    Their one and only reason for being is to make a profit. They are a registered corporation. Research your “freeman” rights.

It’s likely that he DOES have an adult relationship with his ex-wife, she’s probably agreed that he pay the money on the mortgage.   44. [..YouTube..] WRONG! The CSA, like virtually all government agencies, has clearly defined PROFIT targets. That means that they exist to make a profit. If all the money went to the children then they wouldn’t clearly state their aim to MAKE money.
    The CSA are famously one of the most hated and mistrusted agencies in a government renowned for it’s corruption.

    It starts at the top and works it’s way down – Just look at the politicians expenses scandals! Why are you defending them – Do you work for them?

[..YouTube..] Because it only takes ONE to destroy an adult relationship, some fathers are happy to pay for their kids – When the CSA gets involved though those men are frequently treated like criminals and forced into destitution. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. I wonder how many errant mothers are chased by the CSA? I’d wager it’s far fewer than the men currently being persued.

    The CSA is in place to uphold the law. If you refuse to pay for your children, they are there to make sure you do. I don’t think asking anyone to pay 15% of their wages for one child is unreasonable, if I was asked to pay that, I’d probably offer to pay more.

    The CSA (in the UK) does not make any profit, in fact last year it cost the Government almost 1 billion pounds. Every single penny taken goes to the parent with the children. FACT!

    Of course far fewer women are ‘chased’, because most children stay with the mother after a seperation.

    Which Government agencies make a profit? I’m pretty sure they all cost the tax payer money, ie: do not make any profit?

  48. [..YouTube..] The fact is, most people do not like paying once they split up, they are emotional and upset, and the last thing they want to do is give their ex-partner money, they can’t see that it benefits the children. This is why there are laws in place to make people pay.

    I think it is a very good idea, even if it is not administered in the best way. Then again, it has only been in place since 1993, the NHS is 60 years old, and that is still the most expensive and badly run Government organisation.

EndorphinInducing you state that the CSA are there to uphold the law, what law are you actually talking about? if you are referring to the Child Support Act then we suggest you look very closely at it as it is only Legislation, Government Statutes in other words, and they can only be enforced upon us if we consent to it, the only thing is how many of us know that?
    It is a well known fact the CSA are not chasing errant fathers, they are now targeting those fathers who are paying and whose exes are on benefits. What they are doing is issuing imaginary arrears, taking fathers to court to secure the so called debt in order to remove items from fathers homes, or to secure charging orders on the fathers homes, all because they say that money is owed to the Secretary of State.
    The secretary of state is a corporation, the CSA/CMEC is a company and it has £21148 worth of CCJs registered against it, so how can it be an authority if it has debts itself? If they dont make a profit how can they pay off these CCJs?
    Another fact is also the children are not ours, we are conned into handing over ownership of our children to the corporation known as the Secretary of State, they then allow us only to become a legal guardian by handing us a copy of a birth certificate. The children then become the property of the Government and the government need you to look after their property, if you fail to do that then they send in CAFFCASS to remove their property and place them into foster care or care homes. Think about it look at the bigger picture

[..YouTube..] The wages of the idiots who work there must be paid for… I sense that not EVERY penny goes to the children, in fact, what money changes hands normally goes direct to the parent left with custody – They alone get to choose where that money goes, in many cases, on some method to ensnare the next paycheck provider. A fair system would be for equal custody in cases where no abuse exists. No money changing hands, 50% of the care/time to each parent. So simple.
