You should have to earn the name ‘dad’
my daughter is now 7. When she was 3 months old, due to voilence, i was granted an injunction. Since then i have had to appear in court 54 times .
I have endured 4 drug tests, all negative, which my x resulted posotive. I was ordered by court to pass my terrified daughter to her father from age of 2 till 7, screaming she did not want to go. My ex kidnapped my daughter for 9 days, i had to go to court to get her back. It has taken 6 years total disstress to my daughter, social visits weekly for 2 years and numorous useless social workers for them to finally on last court hearing to rule her father is not allowed anywhere near my daughter or myself without going once again through the court system.
Throughout all this time my x, who is in full time employment, has never paid one penny towards my daughter – even avoiding buying her birthday and xmas presents. I was told again and again throughout the whole farce i was under no circumstances allowed to mention money and non payments.
Before my pregnancy i owned two hair salons and a mini cab office. I was involved in two serious car accidents and due to fracturing my spine twice i am now on incapacity. After 6 years of promises from csa and filling out numorous forms i have lost faith in system

Should you have to earn the name ‘mum’ also then?
Here here..;-)
dawn,
Under the circumstances you describe, you and your child deserve some empathy.
Your ex still has a legal obligation to contribute towards your daughter financially. Can you give us more details re the CSA case?
Will you also clarify if you gave your post it’s title heading?
