You couldn’t track him down

August 24, 2014

My relationship with my 2 sons father ended nearly 5 years ago, we were married for 15 years and still married to this day, we did go to go and he was told to pay £125 per child per month. To this date nearly 5 years later I haven’t received a penny. I tried the csa a few years ago you couldn’t help me because you couldn’t track him down, how do I stand now?

Sorry to hear that you are going through a hardship of no having financially supportive father of your children. I am on the same boat. Arrears are building up yet the CSA is taking its time to recover any monies that are owed It comes to my mind my favorite quote from Liam Neeson slightly altered: I know who you are. I know what you want. If you are looking for loan, I can tell you I don’t have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career being married to you. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you pay now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will make you pay. Hope it gives you a bit of comfort, that one day, they resurface, usually when they believe no one will be looking after them or when they naively believe, once the children reach the age of 18 it is the end of it. It will never end, unless they pay.
