Would be better off if I split from my wife

October 16, 2010

I split from my ex wife 2 years ago, in this time i had a brief affair with a Polish girl that I worked with. She got pregnant then decided i wasnt good enough to be the father of this child and left after getting her brand new council house.

I now pay a total of 25% of my net wages which is not the problem. Me and my ex wife have decided to make a go of things but the CSA say that after taking 20% off my net wages, I will now have to pay 15% to the son I never see.

She will now earn from me an extra £48 a month whereas my 2 other children will in turn get a lot less because I will always be skint. Why is it that in theory I am losing a total of 35% from my net wages instead of the 25% if I was still single.

We have been trying to work out this agency that lives in cloud cuckoo land for 17 years sadly to no avail. They are just mindless incompetent bully's.Challenge EVERY single decision they make and complain about everything !!!!!!!!!!!

Best advice is to bury them under an avalanche of administration. Act to the letter of the law, they wouldn't hesistate to do the reverse!!!

I joined this site a few months ago and the stories i read about how the csa work absolutly stagger me, I thank the Good Lord regularly that i never have to deal with these bandits. Please poster, do not get discouraged by this evil regeme, that in a twisted way is saying some children are more worthy than others. Where these people get their ideas about what is fair is rotten. Good luck sir!

Shouldn't have cheated on your wife then!

  • Donna Cheltenham says:

while i agree with Natasha that is not the point, you and your wife have sorted things out and that is great. we have the same problem (not the cheeting bit lol) my husband and i have 3 children and they take from our tax credits (even child care eliment) meaning we work 7 days per week and barely have enough to live on whilst his ex has never worked a day in her life, she gets income support which is what "the law" says they need to live on and the CSA take from us and our children to give extra for her to go to the gym and go clubbing with!! unfair so unfair!!

  • Angela McMillan says:

it is unfair that tax credits are taken into account, especially when the ex gets them too….we've written to our mp to try & get the csa to stop usin tax credits in our claim….however we are still waitin as the csa still haven't written back!! welcome to the shit csa club

  • Donna Cheltenham says:

MP can't help, we tried that! :o(
