Will the CSA action my closed case?
I have been paying Csa for years. Last week I asked them to do a check to see if my son was in education still. Seemed he left in August 2014 so I have over paid by 13 months.
The case is now closed and is with the specialist team apparently.
I have been reading a lot about the Csa and hand on heart didn’t know I had to tell them when I moved jobs or had a pay rise. Several of which have happened.
Will that mean now the case is with this specialist team that it will be me owing money. Will they know. Seriously didn’t know about telling them about this. Really worried I’m going to owe thousands.

I wouldn’t put anything past those robbing bar stewards at the CSA. I have evidence that they have admitted liability in writing causing 6.6k in arrears….yet, they’ve slapped a DEO on my bf’s wages. Spent since 2011 fighting this. Now the case is with the ICE who are so far behind they are currently looking at cases from Feb 2015!
Be prepared for anything.

I have been affected by the CSA for 20 years and ICE showed complete Mal Administration , The CSA were told to be me compensation by ICE.
Then when the case was closed they suddenly started taking money they were not entitled to , my accounts showed I had paid all monies and the fact that it took the CSA 14 years to recognise evidence of payments made direct by cheque.
The CSA admitted they overcharged me by £2500, they laughed at me when I said I would get my MP George Freeman to sort it out.
The CSA and my MP refuse to refund me the admitted overcharge , so in my book that’s admitted theft.
When the CSA laugh at you and your MP refuses to do anything then where does Mr Cameron see his fair society ?
Mr George Freeman my MP is aware of this theft
Be Aware you are dealing with the thieves and cheats and you are not protected whilst you work they will hit you with a DEO regardless of whether you owe money.
Why on earth would your MP refund you?
