Will the CSA accept an account in my son’s name?
Hi, I was hoping someone could clear something up for me. I have a 6 year old and work part time, i also go to college full-time. My ex has recently started to give me money for our son (he used to give me £5 a week!) but has started working full-time. He asked me to open an account in my name so he can put money in.
I DO-NOT want to give him my bank details so said i would open one in our sons name, He said CSA wont accept this? Is this true? and if he pays me CSA will my money change for example any housing benefits or WTC?

Is stil stick to the csa inform them he’s nw started working if he hasn’t .. and u can open a bank in ur sons name and have a auto payment transferd over from ur account on such a date every month
yes they well long you say it ok to do so , they or u cant make him keep paying low if he stop at any time
CSA will not pay money into anybodies account but the PWC’s.
You can make your own arrangements for the money once it is received.
Child maintenance payments do not affect any other benefits received.
