Will he ever be forced to pay me what he owes?

My daughter will be 16 soon.. I split with her father when she was 3. He paid me a couple of payments but that soon stopped so for the last 12 years I have supported her on my own.

He has bought her the odd trainers here and there and contributed sometimes for school uniform and school trips but that has been very far and I between.

I have struggled to work at times as child care cost were to high so I have worked and lived on benefits.. Will he ever have to pay me what he owes me for bringing up his daughter. He has seen her every other weekend since we split but finacally hasn’t helped me support her.
