Will a private detective’s photographs be enough to show the CSA he’s working?
please help if I got a private detective to photograph my ex working is this proof for CSA he is working more than part time! his boss is fiddling wage slips and I have been told I will get £5 per week for two children.
He is working full time and I have taken pictures myself but CSA tell me that isn’t proof and they have to assess on wage slips they receive my ex was violent and now again he has the upper hand

Yes the CSA are right they cannot accept photos these might be pics of him voluntarily helping somebody, only wage slips and bank statements can be shown as proof, unfortunately it looks like your assessment will stand unless you get hard evidence to prove otherwise

If u can afford a PI why take his money? Yes he shud pay and if that is wat the csa have assesed him then thats it. If he had to pay 150 a wk u wud not bother with a PI wud you. He is probably struggling to live in this expensive country like most are now and u want more. Ur probably the sort of person that wud see him in the gutter just so u can have nights out. He probably does only work p/t or like most of us on a zero hours contract and just does a bit more work now n then to survive. Spend the money on ur kids not a PI photos wont be evidence to wat he earns.

Excuse me I know exactly what hours he works this is also an employer who kept 600 money he took as an attachment of earnings CSA were going to prosecute so please don’t say it’s slander u know nothing their father was a violent excuse for a father please don’t patronise !!

Get a job like we have to. If you dont want anything to do with him then y have him money. And dont tell me its for the kids coz if you care about your kids and want his help then let him have the kids for weekends and let him spend his money on them. You find that will help you out a bit. So y go to the csa for. His employer dont need to give details out and that is a law. Look it up under (do employers get fined for not giving details to csa).data protection act. He needs to be asked by his employer first. Without his permision they cant take his money or he can take his employer to court. So stick that one up your bum and smoke it.. Lol.

Amazes me that your finances can stretch to a Private Investigator but you can’t support your children. You’ve got so much time on your hands that you have the CSA on speed dial. I feel sorry for the poor bugger that got involved with you in the first place. No doubt you will pursue him until he takes his last breath. Have you actually listened to yourself? ‘I’ve photographed him working’ – he doesn’t appear to be denying that he’s working, he just might not earn very much and the likes of you would happily see him on the bread line while he pays for you to think your middle class. Connor, you’re not a police officer. You’re 13. It’s pretty clear from your grasp of English. If you were a police officer, you’d be an adult and you’d be working and your ‘mam’ couldn’t claim CSA for you anyway.

Johns comment is a bit below the belt but yes Connor does sound like a bit of a lose cannon. My input is this, it’s a public forum where people vent their anger and frustration about the useless CSA and some of the mothers that use kids as an income. if a poster does not tell the full story and circumstances ? Then people will come to their own conclusions on what they think about that person based on what they read.
If you can’t say it as it really is and justify yourself, then expect negative comments.

If you want to be ‘deleted’ from this site why are you continually posting on it? You have not received abusive comments. The only person to be abusive on this page is your son who, by the way, seems to have a really foul mouth and attitude. Perhaps the absence of a father figure has affected him badly?

@ Lesley, in answer to your original question, it is highly unlikely that the CSA will do anything with photographs provided by you or the PI, you would be better applying for a variation/departure with the CSA on the grounds of lifestyle inconsistent with income and possibly diversion of income, then you can put forward all of your evidence to back up your claim. If luck is on your side or your information can be backed up, then it will go through to a Tribunal, he will then have to justify the claims that you have made against him. The down side of this is that you will most likely have to meet up with him at the Tribunal hearing unless you can prove his ‘violent’ manner, in which case the hearing can be done in private.

At topper, only one who was being foul was this lady’s son…if she can afford a pi then she isn’t as skint as she makes out. I also know through my own circumstances you leave violence behind you without winding the situation up and this will be reflected at any tribunal.
My husband’s ex wife also said he was violent, no record of this, yet she let him have the kids whenever he wanted until she met someone, stopped contact and used that excuse with the csa which they didn’t believe as she’s done exactly what the lady above has done…lucky for my husband he wasn’t lying, yet the ex will not accept this and will do whatever to get money even to the extent of slandering someone’s name! Myself will never do this due to my ex’s violence and not knowing what he would do if I were to start investigating him, not worth putting my children in that situation because he is that volatile.

buy – time to stalk her ex and take photos – isn’t this what the journalist/hacker were doing?, did you take the photos on a public road? money to pay for a private detective, using CSA against her ex when CSA allow mothers not to pursue exe’s because of risk of violence andCSA should do a risk assessment eg don’t want violent ex killing exwife and kids always gets a splash in the papers due to csa involvement?
i would not be surprised if he were driven to violence – you have given a few clues already – he probably wouldn’t do something you ordered him to do and then called the police for DV – who then sticthed him up, looks good in the family courts and for the Chief’s DV stats – just like you have done on here when the abusive commenter was allegedly your son who should now be moved to live with his dad for some parental control.

go for it girl, i think that the parent should support their children no matter what. if he was big enough to lay down and father children he is big enough to support them. the people who have responded to you on here are obviously men! check with the csa to find if it is worth investing in a PI first. good luck…i’m owed over £22,000 arrears in child support.
