Why isn’t the CSA making my dad pay?
My dad is suppose to be paying csa for me and my older sister because of this my dad dropped out of work a few years ago. Once my sister turned 19 my mum then got a letter off the csa saying my dad owes her a huge amount of money. Then my mum got another letter saying he doesnt have to pay anything my dad has two jobs and am only 17 so why is my dad still not paying when he should be its your fault he isnt because use said that he doesnt owe my money any money when he does.
My mum doesnt know ive done this so i would like to speak you first.

Rebecca unfortunately its the system that is wrong as it doesnt stop things like this happening. There are things that she could do but its hard enough for adults to understand the regulations to go through so be difficult to explain, I suggest your mum comes on here or joins the facebook groups child support agencies failings and other groups for advice and support. As it involves complaining in writing, recorded delivery mail and contacting the ICE Independent Case Examiner & your MP.

I presume your mother involved by telling you this, if so, I think it is quite sad that she did.
If you have a relationship with your dad then maybe you could speak to him about how you feel, if not, maybe there is a reason for why you/ or he choose to stay away.
If he deliberatley stayed out of your live, maybe it was because it involved his life being destroyed to the point that it was having a detrimental effect on his relationship with you’s.
Im am not being judgmental of you or your dad, however, there are three sides to every story.
All you need to do is read some of the stories on here, mainly fathers who love and want to see their children, having their relationships destroyed throught a corrupt system and mothers who want to alienate their children from fathers over money?
I obviousley dont know your circumstances, with your father, maybe you should forget about the money and concentrate on having a relationship insteaad with him, if possible!
