Because they go off ur income… just like my child’s father is paying 8.45 a week… he’s now on 2 grand a week in his job what’s 8quid a week gonna do for a child why he’s on 2grand a week so 32quid a month out of 8grand :D… is why they dnt stay at set amounts
But it makes no odds if he earns 200 or 2000 a month a child costs what a child costs and it’s supposed to provide for the children only. If JSA is about £60 a week I think this is apparently ample for an adult to live off full time so why a child can cost more is ridiculous, especially considering it should be both adults responsibility to provide. Therefore if it is £60 for an adult on JSA let’s deduct 25% for a child so that’s £45, split that between 2 and should in theory be around £22.50 a week not taking into account if the child stays at the nrp any time which would then deduct a 1/7 from this!
I have been thinking exactly the same thing before i seen this post im thinkn about starting a campaign or starting up something for Men that are having these issues… i want to challenge Csa/CMS through the media… men have lost everything due to them and also its ok for a mother to claim benefits but when my daughter lived with me her mother still claimed child benefit she wasnt entitled to and therefore i couldnt claim chil benefit or claim csa.. why all the different treatments it goes against human rights aswell so csa/cms are breaking the law
They’re a joke, there also shouldn’t be any maintenance if access denied as some pwc are using it as a way of generating more income which is sick in the head. I have 2 kids with ex, 1 I have 7 nights a week the other 3 nights a week and have a debt of 20k attached to my house as the ex claims against me for my daughter she has 4 nights a week but I refuse to pay as in my opinion they are a package not seperate and this makes me the main carer for the 2 of them. The CSA play us off against each other telling me to claim against her for my son but I don’t want blood on my hands and wouldn’t put that corrupt, illegal bunch of tools on anybody. I pay for my kids whatever is required daily but trying to charge me £97pw for her having my daughter 1 night a week more than me is an absolute joke in my opinion!
Gregory, you raise such a valid point there. Under the new CMS with “shared care” you can have your kids one day less a year and they will award payments to her. sometimes at the standard rate. So by that logic, that one day of extra care must cost her thousands of pounds.
There is no forward thinking logic applied to any of this. It is a toxic organisation with support from government who don’t want to spend the requisite amount of time thinking about or dealing with the actual problems that it causes.
