Why do we even bother with the CSA?

Omg where do i start, my payments stopped in april 2011 since then i have given the csa every piece of information i could, his new mobile number, his address, the fact he has a car.

He was working and each time i call them up i get told different things – firstly due to him being self employed they couldnt prove his salary but they were goin to go for a court order then when i called back was told he was now employed and would go for attachment of earnings and still 3 weeks later nothing has been done.

I am currently owed approx £3000 and the csa are just not doing there job so why do we have them as they are no help what so ever, i am struggling with money and the extra money i would get would help me out so much with my childs extra activities at school. i have called and emailed and just seem to get fobbed off all the time i am sick of it now.
