Why am I being penalised for the CSA’s mistake

I had an account.review in April 2013. I questoned if it was right. They informed me it was. I thought great. Arrears to be cleared by christmas.

This morning (28/8/13) I received a phone call to say they had made an error and I owe more.

I explained the review and that I was assured it was correct. However they said it was wrong.

Why am I being penilised for their mistake?

What can I do?
