While my appeal goes through I still have to pay £164 per month
Csa have wrote to me to say ive got to pay £41 week for my 2 kids but ive wrote to them twice to say ive given my ex wife £6,500 in large sum for the kids welfare and mainteniance and sent proof of bank statements with the transactions showing but they are not considering this as saying ive given this when she didnt have maintenaince file opened at that time which doesnt make sence
I’m going to be appealing against this but got to pay £164 month until appeal goes through im being unfairly treated by them in my opinion can you email me with any advice

If your ex says it wasn’t for maintenance then I’m afraid your screwed…..not what you want to hear. Logic would be why would anyone give an ex who you have children with 6000.00 if not for the kids? Unfortunately csa don’t see it like that. All you can do is supply what proof you have and wait. It does state when an appeal is in process any maintenance calculation must still be paid.
How much time had elapsed between you giving the money and her opening the case?
Any prior private arrangement before the case being opened will not be considered.
If they allowed you not to pay while awaiting appeal imagine how many spurious appeals there might be!
