I’m in the same position, been on csa1 for 14 years, having to pay £400 per month out of my £1200 wages for one child, also my current partners wages taken into account. So basically my new partner is contributing to paying my csa. Been in touch with my mp, he says he has tried to push for me to be transfered to csa3 or at least csa2 as for me both of these would be fairer.
My mp has been told by someone high up in csa that nobody on csa1 will ever get the chance to be transfered onto the new system, because its UNETHICAL.
What a fucking joke!
Very very pissed off nrp.

You can only be assessed on the latest calculations if it is a new claim. ie. another child They will leave you on the 1993 calculations despite announcing all NRPs will be migrated to the current calculations because put quite simply, they extract more money that way, particularly if any benefits are being paid out to the ex.
100% correct Andrea.
The csa will not be moving any of us from csa1, unless as part of a new claim.
We were promised to be transfered to csa2 and that never happened, it is exactly the same with csa3.
Please fellow csa victims, is there anything us csa1 victims can do to get onto the new calculations?
I’ve 5 more years of this crap!
