My ex left 16 years ago and hasn’t paid a penny
My daughter is about to turn 16. Her father left when she was 6 months old because I told him to leave because he had beaten me up for the last time.
I went to the police but they told me it was his word agianst mine and I have never had a penny since off him. Thankfully my daughter has accepted this but I am so annoyed that the CSA refuse to follow my case up. My daughter is choosing her education options, yet her father is probably drinking his.
Thank god for the CSA. Where would us single mothers be without them! (The same as you alwsays were. Skint and judged).

let them judge….. you know your own self-worth, what you have achieved by yourself and you owe no one anything. I take my hat off to anyone who raises children alone and unsupported, more often than not, it isn’t even by choice, as in your case, you left an abusive relationship. More credit should also be given to children who have been abandoned and to those raising them. I know quite a few (mums or dads) and they are definitely not praised enough for what they do, day in, day out. Best wishes.
