Where is the justice in this CSA decision?

I have received a letter from the CSA telling me that my ex has overpaid by £178. Although they have been informed my child maintenance has stopped they still took the money from his account.

However they want the money back FROM ME. My son has been ill all his life, having had his spleen removed and gallbladder. I did contact the CSA a number of years ago to ask why the payments have not increased in the last 18 years. I was told it was not possible to reveiw the case as it was not available anymore.

My son has not had a christmas card or a birthday card from his father ever, and although his father has a child only 9 months older then my son, he still wants the money back. I have been told by the CSA my case can not be reveiwed. I do not understand why they didn’t reveiw the case every year, but apparently I had to call them to arrange this evey year.

My parents have been helping through their pensions to halp me support my son, and all the £34.34 pw I have received from his father has gone into a savings account for my son, he is now at Uni and struggling.

I give him money every month and I am now unemployed. I paid for his driving lessons, test, and bought him a car, out of my money, which I do not mind but hey where is the justice. What can I do?

  1. I have read your statement 3 times and in truth while I try to be fair to both sides I do not understand your complaint.

He over paid. not your fault. but the CSA are not known for its compentance

However if he had under paid you would be complaining

so theres the justice in the CSA decision. so there is the answer to your question

  2. Dam…skank…ungrateful……selfish cow!!!!
Yer right……pay back HIS money as you sure expect him to if the boot was on the other foot.
    Gonk
