Where do I stand now that the child is in the army?

Have been paying csa for nearly 17 years, and question is that the boy has left school and joined the army.

How do I stand with payments, as I need to get everything correct before asking the csa to make a review of my case.

  1. I know some one who at 37 has been on benefits since she was 16 and still is. welcome to the gravey train.

you can review your file yourself. you can contact the CSA and ask for s copy of your file it is free. then you can read it yourself then get the CSA to review it.

you do have to make the request in writing and they cannot refuse the request

    good luck

  2. Thanks for the replies all very helpful, my concern is I think he is at the army college and a chap from a previous thread has the same problem , and still has to pay???? Not sure how it all works , he must be on 30 hrs plus paid work!! If I still have to pay then so be it but something stinks about this whole situation. I am concerned that if I push this and I am wrong knowing the csa like we do. It’s going to increase my payments
    Regards Nick
