What will happen with the debts my ex caused?
I was married for 20 years and separated in October 2014. Basically my question is regarding money issues.
My then wife got her sister to get a £25000 loan for her which I was paying whilst we was together and I continue to pay as I have a lot of respect for her sister.
I’m paying off a credit card which is in my name my then wife maxed out but the card is in my name it was maxed out whilst we was together. Where will I stand with this if my ex wife goes to the CSA.
I’m paying her sister £430 per month and £100 per month off the credit card. The payment to her sister is debited from my account each month. Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

Stop payments to her sister as not in your name if she gets csa on your back as csa will work from your wage not what u have left after bills
Need the full story before we can comment.
don’t need full story at all Peter Anderson
its simple. the csa donr care about how you live, any debt u have, any outgoings, they don’t care, they will assess you on your salary and consider nothing else. If the loan is not in your name then stop paying.
my ex left me with debt that came about by me making the home better for the family, cost of wedding, car I brought her…all in my name and csa didn’t give a shit.I have to pay the bitch £300 a month for 1 child and pay off the debt and pay my morgage
