Nothing changes u still have to pay the same amount to her, even if she won the lottery u would still have to pay the same amount to her
No not at all.. It’s your child so you still have to pay as much maintenance. People think it’s unfair but it’s not at all! You still have a responsibility of paying for your child and you can’t depend on someone else to do that for you… It’s more expensive running a house and paying bills, taken kids out, food etc than what your maintenance would pay. Csa won’t take your new partners income into account because it’s not his child, although he’s bringing them up.
Well said. I’m amazed by how cheap people can be expecting other men to financially provide for their own flesh and blood. I’m a woman and I’m not and will never expect that. My child my responsibility.
Me too hun. Some of the men on here are pigs!! They expect just to lose all responsibilities because someone new is in their lives. It’s almost like spitting the dummy out x
They only ask this because most women expect their ex’s new partners wage to come into account when they’re receiving the payments. CSA needs to be means tested for both parents, the whole system is ludicrous!!
Yeah but penny the average pay is about 30 quid a week and that’s nothing!! The full time parent pays so much more than that. On all bills, uniform, meals , school meals, school trips, going out places.. Etc. it shouldn’t be took in account for the full time parent at all. The system is fair, I just don’t agree with these new charges csa are taken soon from the paying parent.
Csa one sided again as when a father who’s paying moves in with a partner she gets penalised with csa taking a % of his partners child tax credits ?? Where’s the fairness ?there is no fairness in csa !
The CSA is not fair at all. You have to pay house bills for yourself so makes no difference if you have a child. The paying parent still needs to pay to take the children out. The only fair system of 50/50 parenting from the start. Most women use the child as a means of an easy income.
Well said Paul Jones
It would even if incomes and expenditure for both were taken into consideration
I’ve managed for 9years raising my child without money from CSA. You fail to see that the nrp also has a life and bills to pay for. I’d love it if you were on the other end of it Cheryl and see how much your life is screwed up by the CSA where you lose everything.
Aghh you and Ben wisken… Now it rings a bell. We’ll need I say more…. The system is fair… Another man or woman in a relationship shouldn’t make a difference to what the other half pays at all. I think I should recieve more! Me and my new partner both have very good paid jobs, fantastic home and lifestyle and my ex gets away lightly in my eyes! It’s not my new partners job to pay for what my daughters dad should be paying. House bills, council tax and all that is a lot more when you have children. Good each week.. More going places, school uniform, school trips and clubs! I pay more than a poxy 30 quid.. His money is nothing. I have survived with nothing but ive made sure csa have tracked him down and he’s paying at least something
There is nothing fair about the ridiculous system. You are a typical example of a money grabbing pwc. I hope your children don’t grow up with your attitude.
I hope she does.. Hardly a money grabbing cow when Ive only just started recieving payments… But you seem to know me better than my self! it’s a shame Ben blocked me or he could’ve commented rediculous shit too. Partner or family? either way your both as bent as each other. Ex partners get nothing to what they should.

I think it depends on the situation. I know someone who is living with their partner(who works) yet is still claiming benefit and CSA. Yes you should still be paying CSA their your child/children. However this case I know about this woman is getting benefit ( income support, housing, council tax plus CSA) while her partner is also bringing home bread. They are basically living for free yet her ex is paying 25% of his poor wage to nothing but a scrub and that ain’t fair. If SHE was living right then fair enough!
Also if the NRP partner’s wages get taken in to account then so should the PWC partner’s it’s about having a level playing field
The NRP partners salary does not get taken into account.
Stop penny pinching, my ex lives with her new partner im dont moan about my csa payments as its my kid so its my responsibility to help with her up keep , plus if she needs extra me and my ex go half on what she needs
I think it is downright unfair. Yes, I pay csa, yes, my ex has a new partner as well, and no, the csa do not take this into account. However, I remarried and took on 2 children who my wife had from her previous marriage, but she does not collect csa from him. So now I’m responsible for 3 children because my wife wants absolutely nothing to do with her ex…whatsoever, she has her reasons why so dont bother wondering. I still have to pay and will still have to for years. Try telling me my ex is spending more on my daughter than I spend on paying for a household. Codswallop, my ex spends the vast majority of the csa payments on new iphones for herself and generally being a prize bitch. People in my position, be it the mother or father should be given a break. If I were not looking after another 2 children, I would have no problem with it at all, but the csa are just money grabbing, think about nobody, law enforced thieves.

@ Cheryl smith
Talking complete bollocks as usual. Why should a Nrp pay the same cm when the ex has a working partner contributing to the family? It’s morally wrong that he is forced to hand over what the fuck ever amount this agency dictates and even if the ex has a partner worth millions, where’s the fairness in this. Before any you women open your pie holes spouting ” why should he pay for your kids” let me tell you why, in my case for instance. The ex and her partner wanted to be together and take my child with them to be with them, not my choice…THEIRS. Therefore THEY should take care of my daughters everyday needs, NOT me. She does not live with me and I didn’t walk away from my responsibilities. I however should be allowed to spend my money on MY daughter how I see fit and not how a government agency dictates. THATS fair, ex and her partner look after her everyday needs. I look after everything else my daughters desires/wants.
Another thing, how many times do you women bitch about wanting a slice of the nrp’s new partners salary.

this Cheryl smith cant even spell the word “fairness” let alone understand it. All she sees is what she can make out of the ex. she totally fails to grasp the basic principal of playing fair. the csa do not, neither do a vast number of the mothers milking the ex for all they can get. sadly a lot of dads are branded like this Cheryl’s ex and she in turn assumes we are all like her ex.
I have no problem supporting my daughter, but I don’t,instead I support her mother and her partner. As I said, morally the 2 scum bags don’t deserve a penny off me. They should bring up my daughter and be done with it. I should be able to spend on my daughter in other things. The way it is at the moment, im screwed for hundreds each month AND expected to have some kind of quality time on a regular basis with my daughter spending even more money…how the fuck is that fair? and none of you dare bitch to me about it should not be about the money? because its everything to do about the fucking money if you don’t have it because you are being robbed blind of it each month. And I know if the dad wanted to have shared care and thus reduce his monthly payments to the ex? She tell him to fuck off, the mother gets other benefits to assist her and she may have a working partner. what fucking help does the NRP get from the state…sweet fuck all..that’s what. hell…he can even lose the house he/s worked hard for all his life for…pmsl..hows that help his relationship with his kids..lol…the CSA don’t give a flying fuck…and the bottom line is…the likes of you Cheryl smith don’t give a shit either, so long as you line your own pocket. I hope you fall flat on your ass one day and id love to hear about for a laugh.
the system is NOT fair Cheryl. It works in favor for the PWC 100% and does not give a dam about the NRP
