What happens when an older child is between education?

My daughter will be 19yrs old in November. She has finished 6th form and awaiting results before going to university.

When do I stop paying maintainence?

I intend to support my daughter directly.

I’ve just stopped paying for my eldest daughter who turned 20 in June. She was training as a hairdresser, yet in full time employment. I rang the CSA to notify them when she turned 18, they told me I still had to pay, as she was in full time education. So, I’m guessing you will still have to pay for her until she goes to uni.

Normally child benefit and liability to child maintenance ceases once the QC enters higher education i.e. degree level or above.
