What happens to the liability order?

My partner has just sold his house and has a liability order on property for £5,000 for old arrears.

He pays his ex wife directly on a new private agreement set up last year and before that paid regular CSA payments.

Now the case is closed does he still have to pay the liability order put on the house or is it now written off?
