  1. The arrears won’t go away. He owes the arrears to the state. Bet they get written off though so the csa can balance there corrupt books

  2. Why are they not chasing it? Why did they take them so long to get anything done? Does or Did your ex have any assets that they could have used as collatoral? They can take a loan against the equity of a house, for example!

  3. The debt should be SECURED as well through the courts otherwise yes it can be written off in time, I believe.

  4. Its all according if the arrears are correct to begin with, which he can request to be looked into. Arrears will stay on your case and for that amount I’m shocked he hasn’t had a liabilty against him already?

You may never see this money especially if the csa say its a secretary of state debt which they can write off in time if it becomes non-enforceable especially if your ex has no assets etc…but they can go for it if he has an estate when he dies.

  5. in reply to your comments he was ordered to pay £78 per week for the 4 kids which he did for a year then he moved in with a girl had a child with her and never paid again He is not registered at her council house either. They did try a liability order against him for £6000 about 5 years ago but said he had no assets . Ifound out yesterday they havnt been able to trace him as they think he may be working in one of his brothers names for a few years now so dont think i will ever see them.If we were in usa now he would be in prison if he didnt pay.
