Call child maintenance options and they will advise objectively.
Depends on how the cb is split but yes you will be legally bound to pay if she puts in a claim and receives cb. I am in exactly the same situation, I have my son 7 nights a week and my daughter 3 but am charged £75 a week for my daughter. CSA keep telling me I need to counter claim for my son but I wouldn’t put that bent, corrupt bunch on my worst enemy, I’d rather be able to look my kids in the face knowing I haven’t screwed their mum over and have their respect. Good time to try and sort it amicably away from CSA before it’s too late and they try their best to ruin you and you kids lives.
If you have a child each then neither of you should pay CSA.
I don’t think the matter is about sharing duty by having a kid each, the sensible question is that your kids should equally have same chance in life and you therefore should take in consideration each other income, if you have more income than she does it’s normal that you contribute for your other kid if she does have more than you than it’s the same, also the needs and cost of raising are different at each age and should also be taken in consideration, before age 5 there is nursery and it does cost a lot of money, on average between 800/1500£/m (London price) also will they go to independent schools or state schools, how far are you from school ect ect
