What can I do about this CSA hanging over me?
I have 2 children with 2 separate mothers. My first child I pay an agreed amount per month for. I also agreed an amount to pay for my second child, which is more than enough, but my ex partner continues to threaten me for the full CSA amount, which I cannot afford as I live alone.
I have my first child over every weekend from Friday to Sunday and my second child every other weekend and some weekends in between when she’s working.
I am very worried about my current situation and would very much appreciate some help on the matter.
A speedy response would be much appreciated.

A new case would come under CMS. Look up the website to work out what you would have to pay., You can do this without a case being open. The parent with care would have to pay to open a case and they would take into account money paid to other parent as well as the amount of time you have care of your children. She may not be entitled to as much as she thinks.
Laura how to you get rid of you CSA case, I take it you just stop paying them lol and let the games begin
gotta be honest I have no sympathy if you are paying less than you are meant to.
buut here goes. check hiw much you are meant to pay. and pay that amount in future.
this would be better than the CMa getting their sticky paws involved. and then taking into account arrears as well.
in addition I understand that CMA take a % for themselves so u end up just paying the government.
good luck
CSA Warrior we must know each other..
If you can’t afford the CSA amount as we all know it is way to high, go self-employed and pay yourself just over the min wage..Good luck…
Keep a record of all monies you pay..
