Unwanted child could wreck my new life
Around 9 years ago i had a fling with a woman over a 4 month period. I found out she was pregnant and wanted her to have an abortion but she wanted to keep the child, but she said she would never ask for a penny and i left it at that.
She is now in a stable relationship and has given birth to another child.
Myself, I’m married with two children and very happy with things, I dont see my third child and have never really thought about her that was until the csa started to ask me for moneys. The bill is £3500 and then 42 a week ? I’m stumped and dont know what to do. This could wreck a family for a stupid mistake that i never wanted in the first place. Please help.

A stupid mistake? That is actually a child, a person, a life, a human being! How low are you! Grow up and grow a pair! You should have been more responsible during the fling and worn a condom and when you found out that she was keeping the child, you should have been a responsible father. I really your “stupid mistake” does now make it difficult for you and your new life.
Have to agree with Leigh, I have no sympathy for a man who so callously walked away from his child, planned or not, you chose to have unprotected sex, a child was the result of that. How do you think that child would feel to hear you say what you just did? Particularly when you have 2 other children! Do they know they have an older sister you don’t think about? How would it make them feel? It’s about time you stepped up to the mark, be a man, get in touch with your child and be her Father, emotionally, aswel as financially!!!
I agree too! What a wrong post!! How is that people think they can have a child and not take responsibility for it? Your nothing but a coward!! I hope you end up having to pay a fortune for this gorgeous child!
i hope you ment the fling was a stupid mistake not the child, thats pretty harsh is stil a perosn n some1s feelings, but what its alright for women 2 decide they dont want a baby, but if the dad does then the dad basically has no say cus the woman don’t want it. But still yeah.. i know someone whos going through the same, cept for they were usin contreception until she stopped n trapped him telling him she was still on it, but like i and everyone say to him you should of still wrapped up. Your just guna hve to pay it, if not you’ll ruin your new life any way cus u’ll end up in massive debt and drag you new family down with you, or you’ll go to prision for not paying it, and upset you new family.
I think it’s obvious he means the stupid mistake was the child by the way it’s been worded… Your spot on Jodee, an absolute coward who can’t even reply to these responses, he should be ashamed!
