I write on behalf of my son who once again has been shafted by the CSA, January last year he was made redundant informed CSA and payments were stopped. 8/5/13 he informed them that he was now starting back to work. 20/12/13 they wrote to him informing him that he had 4days to send pay slips from May to Dec for them to calculate how much he would have to pay CSA it took them 8 months to this simple tack
He has written to them but naturally they have not replied, so a letter was sent to the complaints department who wrote back to say that they had such a high volume of complaints that it would take some weeks to work it out it says something for the CSA when there are so many complaints, I have also written to the Minister of works and pensions, and our PM but still waiting for them to get back to us. Mind you this is only the second time in 12 months that the CSA has made a botch up for him, last time they wanted proof that arrears had been paid but they could tell us that it was paid it was up on the computer as paid. what a bunch of gross negligent highly paid people.
It is high time the CSA was blasted into space and a new system be placed where there to be a small office in every county for people to go in and talk to support officer, makes more sense than the large office they have now where nobody seems to do any work.
If my son has no satisfaction from CSA, ICE, M.P. or P.M. within the next 7 days this case will go to the papers and I hope others will follow and lets try and sort CSA out one and for all

I’m afraid your trying what millions of other people have already tried. I for one wrote to every official I could think of. Including the prime minister. Only reply I got was a letter of Downing Street saying my complaint will be passed onto the right person lol.
Let’s make it clear though so there’s no confusion. It’s Brussels that need to change the law. And untill a way can be found to get every single case in the uk on board there will never be a change. For instance when France strike. They strike. They block the roads and cause chaos. When us British strike we drive down the m1 doing 5mph. Not really effective if you see what I mean

Isn’t your son old enough to take responsibility for himself his income child support ect…. Why’s daddy doing all the running round? He was big enough to make a baby why can’t he act on it himself
We need to stand and fight together, on your own we are nothing, classed as nrps who are trying to avoid supporting our children. The media are 100% behind demonising us nrps, the poilticians are corrupt and are deliberately targeting us, we are called feckless by the prime minister and other members of parliament.
Unfortunately it seems the majority of this country are at war with nrps, and i can’t see it getting any better.
If you do get somewhere with the media and they want other people to tell their story, count me in.
I really hope one day this corrupt organisation are brought to account.

Also try to ignore some of the poison and bile some write on this site, i don’t blame you trying to help your son sort this all out, because the csa are lying scum who will destroy your sons life if allowed to. They drive people to suicide, and if you can protect you son from some of their harrassment, all the better.
Its basically like owing the local gangsters money, FUCK YOU PAY ME !

@ sarah, why so nasty? Maybe this guy was just looking for info for his son and came across this site….after all it is a forum wanting advice, shouldn’t matter who asks for it!
To the OP, csa have a media blackout, no tabloid etc will touch it.
keep on at the mp or see if you can find the number of your local mp office and ring them.
csa are crap, they give unrealistic timescales and expect the nrps to supply info in a matter of days yet their own time limits is 15 days….and beyond! Keep everything recorded and don’t throw any paperwork away. Never ring the csa and put everything in writing taking copies and send recorded.
csa are slowly disbanding but no definate date has been set for all cases to migrate onto child support options, this is where they want pwcs and nrps to come to more amicable arrangements unless there is proof why this cannot happen.
hope your son with your help gets the answers he needs.

It’s called being a good parent! However old your kids are, you still support them any way you can! Perhaps you should consider going to some parenting classes instead of attempting to belittle a good Father!

Press/media are either shareholders of the csa and wont print bad publicity or if not shareholders they are banned from printing bad publicity so dont bother wasting time doing that. There are thoudands of dads mums wat ever that have been stung and you never see anything bad in press about csa. Dont you think thousands of others have gone to the press. If it were that easy all csa shit wud have been sorted now. Your not the only one with issues regarding this bad mess of a so called agency
