They’ve taken our son away and now they want maintenance

My 16yo son moved to his friends house two years ago(Against our will). Now he is 18, the mother of his friend has made a claim with the CSA to get maintenance off of me! I have a younger son still at home (and an older son who works and has his own flat), the CSA told me that they do not take in to account that I am an agency worker and i have bills to pay. I considered my son a lodger where he is living now, and he left home of his own accord, with no pressure from us. We would rather he had stayed at home.

Is it right that they can claim maintenance?? Just doesnt feel right having to pay someone who already brainwashed, manipulated & took our son away!

p.s.we would glady help our son finacially in any way we can. But NOT them. There was no attempt to come to an agreement without CSA involvement. The letter from CSA was the first we heard.
