They need to actually look into my ex’s earnings

July 1, 2013

i got in touch with the c.s.a about 6 months was arranged by the father and myself that he would give me £60 pound every 2 weeks,as he didnt want to pay it through the csa.payments went ahead for the first 6 weeks, and then nothing after son is 11 years old,and the father has never paid for him,he has a very well paid job,and he seems to be able to pay for hes daughter that he has with someone else.he sees my son every other saturday.

the csa got in touch with him over this, and he told me that if i was to receive child maintenance through the csa,i wouldnt get much, because he does hes own books, and he lies about how much he earns.think someone needs to actualy look into hes earnings and not just take hes word for it.i am fed up with it,and my son is missing out on school trips, etc because i just cant afford it.please can someone help me.thankyou.

If you want to join the facebook group child support agencies failings for advice and support as others in similar situations. Good Luck.

Unfortunately that would mean the CSA doing their job and that won’t happen any time soon… CSA concentrate on NRP’s who are on PAYE (less work involved), as soon as an NRP mentions that he/she is self-employed, the CSA lose interest and ignore the PWC or lie to her/him to avoid investigating/finding out the facts.

the NACSA website provides great advice and assistance when dealing with the CSA and the idiots who work for it… i’m assuming your ex is not willing to come to a private agreement with you? the only thing you could possibly try is reporting him to inland revenue??

    Good luck
