The CSA’s mistake has caused all sorts of trouble
My son started work oct 2011 so called to stop my payments from his dad straight away.Called them every week till march 2012 to tell them I was still getting payments,they told me I still had arrears to be paid to me from my ex.
End of year 2012 they sent me letter to say I had been over paid,so I am paying this back to my ex,as I am only part time I have been paying it back monthly until my ex demanded it all at once which I cannot do.This is extremely stressful and was not my fault.I am now getting harassing text message from my ex.What can I do?

Where csa arrears are concerned, question everything, your ex probably is mad because you believed the csa, you cant blame him for wanting back.whats rightfully his, you took the money without question, best thing is to make a.complaint, obviously its hardship for you, but the csa are a law unto themselves and never do the job right, by making a.complaint you might just get these arrears wiped,
