The CSA won’t even tell me how to appeal
My wife has applied for maintenance for our 17 year old son, however it states that he must be in full time education or equivalent – but he isn’t.
I have informed the CSA of this but they have said that because she is in receipt of child benefit he must therefore be in FT education. They have taken her word for this and despite numerous requests to the CSA to tell me how to appeal they have refused to do this and keep demanding payment.
They have sent letters with differing versions of events and continue to hound me despite requesting a 32 day period to put a case to them. I am at my wits end and lm becoming increasingly anxious and depressed.
Please can you advise me on what to do next? Thank you.

Yep me too I’m in exactly the same situation the CSA won’t listen to me, won’t pursue my lying ex or write to me stating how they’ve calculated their demand. I’m considering taking direct action in the hope it will make someone take notice of this terrible government department. Good luck.
Report your ex for benefit fraud. Tell them when son left full time (12 hours a week) education. You need to get child benefit to stop paying her before CSA stop taking money.
