The CSA was set up to chase absent fathers but I have always been there
my daughter is now 23 with a 3 year old of her own. about a month ago i got a letter from csa saying they had reopened my case which was closed when my daughter was 18. they said i owe £297, i have seen my daughter all her life and contributed to her upbringing, she has also had support and financial help from my parents.
the csa was set up to chase absent fathers of which i m not one of, they have a bulying attitude and do not listen to a word , you say , they talk to you like they are reading a script

Tell them to get stuffed. If everyone who was threatened by them stood their ground asked to be taken to court and be heard by a judge it just might bring about investigations into these immoral, bullying bunch of wankers.
Bloody disgusting what the hell is wrong with CSA!!! Decent fathers like you seem to get hammered but men like my husband who has put me through 10yrs of domestic violence, stole from me, bankrupt me and drive me to a breakdown has only ever paid CSA for 10mths since we split 4yrs ago and I am left struggling to raise our 3 young children on my own and don’t get a penny from him.
I would be emailing the CSA and asking them to prove beyond any doubt you owe the money, to be fair the only person who will gain is your daughters mum, sounds to me like your case hasn’t been closed properly and they have targeted yet another poor chap to foot the arrears bill which Ian dickhead smith has said is owed, challenge it never let the wankers push you around, or if your friendly with the ex get her to contact saying she doesn’t want them collecting and that’s the end of that for you
An absolute joke of a system. They are needing to scrap this whole system to fuck and make it FAIR!!!! Not to mention hiring people who actually think about what their doing before destroying families.
