The CSA payments are more than I can manage
I have my kids 3 nights a week during that time I pay for and buy them everythin, I don’t mind givin my ex money for the kids but why should I be left with no money to do anything with my kids… her and her partner have a lot more money coming in than me and currently I now face losing my flat as she is sayin I have them less than I do and my csa payments are becoming more than I can manage.
The system is not fair and does not reflect the true nature of all situations just a general over view, like I said I have no problem supporting my children but why when I am now skint all the time is it fair that she can go on 4 holidays a yr and live the high life when I have nothing left to live on?

The truth is, they just don’t care. They will all most probably be having a laugh in their office about the state they have left you in, when dealing with the CSA, you have no rights whatsoever, the Human Rights Law doesn’t seem to apply, they can do whatever they wish, you are just stuffed!
They just don’t give a crap,I’ve rung them every Monday for three months trying to sort mine out(I’m paying for my kids that have always lived with me)after they put an attachment of earning on me)they know they live with me yet still they take money of me ever week leaving me with next to nothing to feed them.. There a total joke and need a huge overhaul.

Well you could start having them 4 nights a week. Then you could claim CSA from her! This may be your best way forward but it needs planning. The best time to start is school holiday time. Have them for the holidays and then just keep them.
Something must be done ! We’ve all had enough trying to do right by the children & have to be left with enough to live on ourselves ! (we are fighting what we consider are unfair ‘arrears’-CSA are believing pwc and not giving us a fair hearing !)Peter, think you’ll find that who ever had the Ch/Ben is the pwc even if they have them exactly equal times or even more! If you have 2 children you could claim one Ch/ben for each which might even things up but don’t think many pwc’s would agree.
write to your local MP via the website “Writetothem”..
if there is a dispute over the amount of shared care then both the PWC and NRP will be asked to submit their best available evidence – this can be a diary or calendar with dates that you have the children overnight, or simply a list of dates. The case worker will then compare the details and contact both parties to see if an agreement can be reached – failing that the case worker will make a decision on the share care bandwidth. If you have not been keeping a record of the nights you have the children staying overnight then I strongly suggest you start doing so now – after a 3 month period you can submit this to the agency and ask them to look at the shared care level again.
@ Gavin, please follow this little guide, this should sort this load of idiots at the CSA,
CSA complaints free phone number 08007838527 You may have been phoning and complaining to the CSA for a long time getting nowhere use this guide and you will see how quickly they respond. Please do excuse if I repeat the steps I have done this for a good reason. 1.Complain and Appeal and get your MP involved EMAIL the complaint and appeal copy everyone in.
2.Order your Data Prints by post and email.
3.Email all and sundry use the email list and email them every couple of days to remind them.
4.Not happy with data prints items missing Complain to ICO be sure to copy everyone in. casework@ico.gsi.gov.uk
This is what you do immediately if you believe the CSA are taking too much from you! ■First thing you must do is make an official Complaint and Appeal *EMAIL THE COMPLAINT*and contact your MP and get them involved regarding your issues you are having with the CSA. Mention that you believe that they have made an Official Error. Ask the CSA for the decision to be set aside as they are not leaving you enough to live on and is going to cause you an injustice. This is based upon Regulation 55 of the Child Support Act (Maintenance Assessment Procedure) 1992 http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1992/1813/made
Attach a copy of ALL your outgoings, even the things the CSA don’t allow for
Its about time the CSA realised how many lives are being destroyed by money, yes we all know kids need, but not like this, especially since this guy has shared care, the CSA case shouldt even be open
I totally agree, i could have written exactly the same!!!! It’s so unfair, 🙁
then if he does that the police will become involved and he will be refused access at all on the grounds of what he did. At least give the guy some good advice. If you have proof of paying for items when you do have the children email CSA copies of them so they can take these into account. Ask for a varioation based on the receipts.
