Hope its ..true …click on Google …type ..”is the c.s.a closing” …. it tells you the information on (ginger bread) …..Good ridden’s to bad rubbish I say!!!! … then they can stick there money where the sun don’t shine!!!!!!
They will not be shutting down, just rebranding as ‘The Child Maintenance Service’. Same rubbish just another year.
THAT”S BECAUSE THERE IS “NO APPEAL PROCESS”
CSA has been replaced by the Child Maintenance Service which is administered by the same people with another new lot of computer software.
They haven’t updated their software Bill, they’re still using XP (as do all departments of government, a little scary to think that Microsoft pulled the plug on back up and support to this operating system early last year) but you are correct in as much that is still the same people, still the same rubbish. The difference between the two is that you will now have to pay to use the service if you are the ‘parent with care’. The other parent now has to pay a percentage of ‘their’ gross earnings as opposed to their net and as this is an average taken over a period of time you may well find that if you are unfortunate to be on a zero contract and not working you still owe money. And Gary you are absolutely right, there is no appeal process, you will have to go through their complaints procedure and finally on to the Independent Case Examiner. It will take a long time but stick with it if you can
