The CSA keep re-evaluting my case but I won’t be beaten

I have had dealings with the c.s.a since Aug.12. The c.s.a. were taking money out of my wages every week. Then i lost my job, so i signed on. I had a letter from the c.s.a stating that blah blah amount would come out of my j.s.a. I waited and waited & nothing was taken out of my j.s.a.

I then found work. I telephoned the c.s.a & told them all the details they needed. I waited a month, phoned them at my own cost, and asked why no money had been taken out so far. “We are evaluating your case sir.”

Now we are on the 18.03.2013, and this afternoon the c.s.a. rang me up and informed me that at this present point “I have over £600 of arrears”. Plus I’m being re-evaluated on how much i have to pay a week towards my children. The c.s.a. advisor informed me that they can take out 40% of my wages for the arrears & the normal weekly payment. So i am now waiting to get stuffed over by the c.s.a. financially, and my ex wife to be smiling very much. I am fuming. But i wont be beaten. Trust me.

  1. Paul,

Was your liability re calculated for the period you were unemployed?

The CSA have to leave you with at least 60% of your income.
