The CSA is all about money laundering
I think the csa is really a money laundering organisation. Def seems like there is fraudulent activity but nobody is in a position to challenge them. All csa workers have greeted me with arrogance and rudeness. They basically take what they want and give little to the benefit of the child. Csa meaning child support agency.
There is actually very little financial support that goes to the child. Not one csa worker can tell me where my money that I paid went to. I was paying £490 a month, almost bankrupted me. Asked for some leniency but was told no. Out of that £490 my ex was getting about £50. I was told the money gets into a pot and other departments take from it.
No paper trail for money I paid. I have been approached several times saying I still owe money where we had infact already settled and had it confirmed by csa. They have now started taking money frm me via attachment of earnings. I was told that if i proved I didn’t owe that money then I would still have to pay anyway. Which means I would be paying more than I earned. How can they have such power and be able to abuse it so easily. There must be ways where we can be treated fairly and challenge the csa?

There is definitely something not right with the CSA and their payments. Apparently my payments are done manually whatever that means. This is the excuse I am given when I ring to find out where my payments are. Today I have rung again about an overdue payment and it has been revealed that they have had my payment since the 3rd December! They told me to ring back at the end of the week but I refused I said I was not prepared to wait an longer and wanted it sorted. I was the placed on hold while she went through to another department. She then came back on the line and said her colleague Ryan would process the payment today and I can expect it in 10 days!! This is totally unacceptable. Are they earning interest on all these payments they hang on to? It is a regular occurence and a member of staff once let slip to me that all my payment was waiting for was for someone to push a button to release it to my account! Something should be done.
They obviously have an account with a high fixed rate of interest, and probably have an obligation to keep money in that account until it meets the requirements/terms and conditions until they can release it. So you are right to think this way.
In my case, as an nrp, I would like to know what benefits my ex is claiming that supports her case for csa payments from me. In 13 years, I have not had one statement that informs me what I am paying for and how much my financial liability is…………therefore, I can only assume that the CSA make it up to suit their own finances.
It’s a complete and utter shambles, and matters should be passed back to the courts with free legal advice for both pwc’s and nrps’s. That way, at least we would all know where we stand!
why do we have to pay 15% in every 100 pound we earn when the gorvenment only pay about 17 pound a week family allowance we should pay the same as wot the gorvenment pay aweek for one child
Steve:- Why should the government (taxpayer) pay anything for your children?
Child benefit (previously known as family allowance) is paid at £20.30 for the eldest child and £13.40 for subsequent children.
I agree with Wilf. The goverment do not create children so child benefit is a bonus they give. Child support is what you pay towards your childs food, clothing, to keep a roof over their heads. When the NRP makes those payments why on earth are the pwc’s having to then chase these payments on a regular basis until some imbicile decides to transfer those payments to our bank accounts??
The CSA received my payment on 3rd December 2012 yet I still have not received it!
