Should my ex be paying to support his daughter?
Last year myself and darren lee read came to an agreement that he would give me £100 per month for his daughter. To which he has only continued to stick to when it suits him. Now that melissa is 13 and in upper school she is constantly growing and needing new clothes.
Im a student and recieve employment support benefit along with child benefit. But this is all, as at present im not able to work due to my mental health and disabilities. Mr darren lee read has a history with csa as we have had numerous problems now since 200. I am aware that he does owe rather a large sum of money now. Whether this be to you or me im not sure.
At present as far as i know darren is signing on and working part time.
I have no idea how much i am intitled too. I do however believe that he should be paying something towards the upbringing if his child.
Darren and i have been separated for nearly 11 yrs now. And im sure i havnt recieved even half if what i should be intitled too.
Im writing this as it has gone on for long enough now. I hope you can help one way or another, even if its just to be told how much he should be paying me.
Thankyou for your time in reading this.
I am able to give you more personal details of all included if need be.
Thank you miss kd smith

Every NRP should pay for their children, but you will find that most NRP’s are paying far to much to the point that they are unable to support themselfs or a 2nd family. You have said in your letter that your ex is signing on ,does this mean that he is working part time without declaring an income. If this is the case then at this moment he will be paying only £5.00(though I am sure I have read that next year it could be £10.00).Are you claiming all that you should be ,i.e child tax, child benefit, poll tax allowance, housing allowance, and school dinners. If he is working and signing on then you can report this has it is benefit fraud ,but he would be entitled to benefits himself but shouldnt have to sign on for these .
