Should I have to pay for the week that my daughter stayed with me?
I have had my daughter 4 nights and 5 days and now she is staying with a friend because she has fell out with her mother.i don’t see why i have to pay for this week because i have had her.
don’t know if she is ever going back home.Because if you don’t stop payments until this is sorted out i will take it futher because i am getting her more and surprise surprise she has packed in college again. and this time the child benifit is going to know she has been frauding them since 2011.

I don’t think child maintenance is about paying for time your not with your kids. It’s about providing a roof over their heads, food in their mouths and clothes on their backs. Just because your children have spent time with you or at other people’s houses doesn’t mean the rent, mortgage or bills in their actual home stops, that all still has to be paid. Sorry to sound harsh bit sometimes I think people forget what child maintenance is all about? On another point well done to you for paying CSA, my estranged husband doesn’t pay a penny for our 3 children yet has them as and when he wants.
