Shocking how CSA treats men who want to see their kids

Hi iam Writing on behalf of my husband basically his had his son for 3 days two nights since he was 3 years old now his age 13 and csa has had my husband down to have him one night a week!

Then the csa has contacted my husbands ex and she has admitted that we have him two nights a week but shes not told the true about the length of time we have had him like that so the csa are saying we are in arrears.

Its horrible how csa treat the men who want to have there kids and do and payd for them all there life! Also I think its shocking how the maintenance doesn’t even have to go on the child the mother can spend it on herself if she wants! Csa are vile and they just take the money and side qith the mothers!

  1. Imagine having your child 4/5 nights a week for 6years and still having to pay maintenance because CSA, Child Benefit and Tax Credits all conspire with the mum who hasn’t seen their child on any weekend for all that 6yrs. Last helped a dad secure £7.80 a week from his ex after getting school to release details of his address and a couple of letters from the child to prove this. Eventually took legal action to make all of these sexist man-haters get the tucking message.

I did advise him to sure each of the above for damages but alas “i don’t want the hassle”… If Mr Shaw you read this, please consider the offer still being there

  2. Yes indeed Rachel
Makes me sooooo fucking angry that my ex walks out of my life and takes my then 3 yr old daughter with her to live with another man and have him raise her and play dad to her. And I’m forced to pay the pair of barstards £300 out of my wages each month for the privilege. Makes me want to spit teeth to think those 2 fucks can piss my money away how they see fit.
Vile don’t come close enough for what the csa are.
    Gonk

  3. You need to dispute the arrears (use this actual term). Dont phone – always use RECORDED post or email (address on gov.uk). The CSA will say you can not back date a dispute if you didnt contact them within 1 month of the initial calculation. You can dispute from today or the date you first rang them to say there was a problem, but it will be difficult to back date the calculation unless you have a valid reason, such as you rang at the time but they didnt take action etc.
Make a subject access request in writing to the CSA – requesting ALL information on your case, audio and written recordings, so you can see what they have actually been at.
You can also become a third party representative for your husband, and so manage the complaint yourself, your husband just has to ring and give authority for you to be a third party representative.
