She doesn’t work but her husband does – can I get payments?
She left the children in my care 6 years ago to live in Australia with her husband and their 2 children and never gave me a penny towards their upbringing!
She moved back to England feb 2013 and still doesn’t pay anything she has the children every other weekend for 2 nights and occasional one night in the week but it’s not all the time!
She doesn’t work but get husband does is there any way we could get any money for the 3 children that live with myself and my partner?
The children are 16, 13 and 11

No his wages are his and not hers why should he have to pay for ur kids??
Married couples get tax benefits etc. You marry the person…kids are part of it. Why the hell not. In other respects they share debts, be it credit cards, mortgages. Kids may have been born before the couole got together but they dont stop living just because you have new life together!!
NO if it was the other way around would u want ur wife paying for kids that are not hers no .u would not or u would not want to pay for kids that are not urs even u were marred .
And its a bit like…i want your mam/dad but not you, so get lost kinda attitude. Not everyone thinks like that. Theres plenty of supportive step parents. And child reaps benefits in the end.
If she gets child tax credits they count that as her income
as i say to everyone who posts on here crying for money, get a bloody job if she left you six years ago the children are minimum of 6 which means they are in primary 1 from 9am till 3pm go and get yourself a part time job to help support yourself and your children.
P.S getting really fed up of ppl posting basically wanting to use the NRP as a bloody cash mule to support there lazy asses all in the guise of its for the children.
I agree I hemorrhage money every month to my ex and still he wants more my son is now in school so what’s stopping my ex getting in to work, makes me sick

my point is if this was a woman, this sarah would not be posting. or be on HER side if HE was a woman posting. don’t matter what the subject matter is…if its MAN she will respond with a negative comment.
