PWC denies access for financial gain

April 21, 2010

I paid £200 per month before the CSA became involved and now I’m paying about £220 – I’m not remotely bothered about that. I explained to my ex that I am very much against the CSA on principle because of the damage it has caused, the way it deepens divisions between ex-partners, the ridiculous calculation system which encourages the PWC to deny access to children for financial gain. Needless to say it was just another opportunity for my ex-wife to try to exert some ‘control’.

The CSA should first and foremost encourage the ex-partners to reach a private agreement, it should also provide information to both parents to help them to support the child(ren). It seems that the child is the last consideration in all of this.

The CSA exists because greedy women want more. If the NRP refuses to pay then fair enough, but the majority of parents want to support their children and actually see them too!

I’d had no contact from the CSA prior to them taking money from my wages which I find incredible. I still haven’t had an opportunity to put my side of the story across, just a deduction on my wageslip each month. I want to pay for my daughter, but I don’t want to involve myself with this despicable organisation.

The fact that a PWC benefits financially by denying access to the child is my main objection. It is fundamentally wrong and this should be made illegal. It’s damaging to the child, but the children are never discussed or taken into consideration.

i totally agree with you. the CSA should encourage good relations between parents and try to get them to have a private agreement to whic both parties are happy with , taking in to consideration what the NRP and PWC earn. The majority of the time the mother is just been greedy and living it up on her benefits with free house, claiming single parents benefits when inface living with the father of her thrid kid by third man. it dosent matter if if the CSA payments leave the NRP in financial disater, they do not take your mortgage or any bills in to consideration, for all they care you could be homeless but as long as you work and pay most of your salary in to your ex’s bank then all is well! this system sucks.

A private agreement would normally work, but what happens when the Ex denies contact anyway. My partners ex does this regularly so we are awaiting a court re-adjournment at the min and Cafcass to do a report, then last week she texts him to say she is taking him to CSA despite him paying a private agreement and never missed a payment.
The judges say the two are not linked but clearly his ex is denying contact for financial gain, as his number of nights will now be reduced. He has not seen his kids since Feb and there is nothing at the min we can do except wait for the next court hearing and the outcome of the Cafcass report. Totally greedy women like this should not be allowed to ave kids in the 1st place!!
