Partner’s ex put his name on birth certificate for child that is not his
My partner was lead to believe he was the biological father to his exs daughter so he’s on the birth certificate. He grew a bond with his daughter and wouldn’t turn his back on her.
He also has a son to his ex. He pays weekly and never misses a payment. But recently his ex has taken him to child maintenance and is penalising him as he doesn’t want him and hasn’t been with her for over 2 years.
His ex has put him down for been both children’s dad but few months ago proceeding of his name are coming of the birth certificate.
Because she has named him to child maintenance as both children’s father will he have to pay for both or will they take it into account that he is only the father to 1 child.?

This is an interesting one Asher Tillotson.
My advice to you would be keep your fucking nose out of it all. It isn’t your money that he’s paying his CSA with. It isn’t your child either. So it’s none of your business. And by the sounds of it im pretty sure whatever he’s paying out ul be claiming in benefits somewhere or how to make up for your loss.
