Partner’s ex is ruinung our relationship through the CSA
My partner and i are been hounded by the csa. he paid cash when visiting his child and when moving in with me his ex ontacted and said she had never had a penny.
Now he apparantly owes around £20,000. we have nearly split up due to this, they are wanting my wages etc now too. my partner had to leave work due to a breakdown and still isnt working and i have been on anti depressants most the year as it is so stressful and we have no life ourselves. we had no problem paying a couple of hundred a month even though hes never seen his child in years, hoever they were taking over £500. i dont know what to do anymore. i am trying to keep us afloat on one wage. they are just so relentless. it got me so down at one point i wanted to end it all.
Women are due maintenance i agree with it strongly but to ruin the fathers life and be so rude to him and me is a disgrace and i am disgusted with the way these situations are dealt with, due to the csa i am now on debt management due to missing our own bills and we are very unstable in our relationship which we dont want to let be ruined by his ex as she made a threat that if he got back with her it would all stop but why should we be blackmailed and live our lives for her.we tried talking to csa and are never rude but we were evn hung up on once by a very rude woman.
Please help we no have no money to give his ex if she wasnt lying or so greedy then she couldve had £200 a month still but my partner doesnt work now as hes given up and cant see the point so no payments have been made since he left and we now owe the an extra £3000.

I know too well how you feel, if you love your partner don’t let it beat you. My advice is see your mp about getting your payments reduced, its not like the debt is going away but an nrp has live too. If you have face book join us on the against the csa group….its not about not supporting children, but making the system fair.

I’m sorry to say but this crap does lead people into debt…i lost my job…& the whole csa thing got me into debt…luckily i got out of it but still had to repay backpayments…which was a mistake that was due to them…luckily i have a stong & supportive partner & that led me to keep my head together…some people unfortunately don’t & it sends them into depression, illness…& worse!!
Most fathers do not mind contributing, but it’s unjustified the ammount the csa demand 15%…& that doesnt matter if you earn £1000 a month or £10,000…how does it cost any different to raise a child….most of the money goes to the government…the kids get very little & if there is any spare the mother (in some cases) squanders it (yes that has been known to happen in some cases).
I would say that 5% of the fathers money should be a fair payment (especially if the father has nothing to do with the child & if the mother has a new partner…who works)…this may also encourage the mother to get a job when the child is 6 or 7 (which is when she has to)…if she wants more money for her kids.
Also blackmail is a criminal offence & when that or other issues like harrasment get thrown into the mix…it should be a criminal offence & dealt with as a crime…any mother who plays that card is NOT FIT TO HAVE A CHILD & is obviously too thick to know that those things will affect the kids in a negative way too!!

Sym above is now in a relationship with a fat pig and someone’s else kids, he’s a deadbeat dad, a racist, a bigot and an absolute disgrace to this country, ontop of that he’s also a very bitter failed musician and wastes the kids money buying expensive symbols and new drumsticks, he needs to grow up and stop sponging off of his family and fuck off back to Denmark, hypocrit of the highest order!
